Terms of use
1. Service
Zitierfest provides statutory texts and decisions of the federal supreme courts from official sources via the Model Context Protocol. The service is a private project, currently free of charge and operated without any commitment to a particular availability. Features, collection and limits may change; significant changes are announced via the newsletter.
2. No legal advice
The content consists of statutory texts and texts of decisions, not legal assessments. Despite careful preparation, texts may be incomplete, incorrect or no longer up to date. Only the official promulgation gazettes are binding. Answers of an AI model based on these texts must be checked before any use.
Texts of decisions are reproduced as officially published; Zitierfest does not assess them. International treaties are reproduced in German translation; the authentic language versions prevail.
3. API keys and limits
Keys are personal and must be kept confidential. The limits shown in your account apply. It is not permitted to circumvent limits by using several accounts, to retrieve the service in full by automated means, or to use it in a way that impairs operation for others. In case of violations, keys may be revoked and accounts blocked.
4. Liability
Liability is unlimited for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. Otherwise, liability for a free service is limited to intent and gross negligence (§§ 521, 599 BGB applied accordingly).
5. Termination
You can delete your account yourself at any time. The operator may discontinue the service or individual accounts with reasonable notice, and immediately in case of abuse.
6. Final provisions
German law applies. Mandatory consumer protection provisions remain unaffected.
